Seventeen years of English teaching have given me experience with many different learners, goals, and classroom situations. I am an American teacher living in Cartagena, Spain, and I enjoy helping students improve their English in a practical, confident, and enjoyable way.

My teaching experience includes work with children, young learners, university students, adults, professionals, and business English learners. I have also directed English programs and worked in English immersion settings, which has helped me understand how to build lessons that are organized, engaging, and focused on real progress.

I teach students from beginner to upper advanced levels. My lessons can focus on grammar development, listening comprehension, reading comprehension, speaking practice, vocabulary development, and writing correction. I also help students with academic English, business English, colloquial English, and interview preparation.

For exam-focused learners, I can support CAE, CPE, FCE, IELTS, TOEFL, and TOEIC preparation. I have a B.A. in International Studies from the University of Minnesota Duluth and a TEFL certification. My goal is to help students communicate more clearly, speak with confidence, and enjoy the process of learning English.
